WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU

ENLIGHTENMENT FOR TODAY BY APOSTLE GILBERT KARUZA

WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU?

MATTHEW 16: 13
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? (KJV)

Child of God, how well do you know Jesus? Who is he to you? How you know Jesus is very important. Your knowledge of Jesus will go a long way in determining what you can do in Christ. When Jesus asked his disciples, they all answered according to how they knew him. They were saying what people said.

Simon Peter answered, you are the son of the living God. Jesus told him, upon this revelation of Christ, I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

The believer’s life is lived on the revelation of Christ. When you have the revelation of Christ, you become too powerful for the devil. Christ is our identity, therefore knowing Christ is knowing yourself. The accurate revelation of Christ is the accurate knowledge of your true identity. We are as he is. It is therefore expected of us to search the scriptures to know him. The scriptures testify of Jesus. He is the message of the scriptures.

Knowing Jesus is by the revelation of the scriptures. You can’t know him by dreams or visions. Knowing Jesus is not just mere accumulation of literature facts but by revelation or understanding of the scriptures. Till you know Jesus by revelation, you can never know yourself and will not be efficient in your life.

The scriptures are the testimony of Jesus. I will therefore be a diligent student of the scriptures to know Jesus who is my true identity.

1John 4: 17,
John 5: 39- 47

THE GLORIOUS GENEROSITY OF GOD

Victory In Christ Ministries

In His Person and saving act, Christ has completed all that pertains to our salvation. But without our understanding of who He is and what He has done with us, we cannot benefit of what is rightfully ours.

We must adopt the New Testament principle of unselfish service in love for Christ to be made known. We have the ambassadorship to represent Him faithfully and accurately. It is our vocation as saints of God and we must all respond faithfully to this vocation…

Apostle Paul reveals the secret surprise of the Trinity that is now unfolding in our experience. The disclosure of the sacred secret is summed up in the term “in Christ”; it is the plan of the salvation of God here and now. God’s new program is summed up as none other than Christ Himself. This was hidden from ages and generations but is now made manifest among us, brought into our experience. We are living in the Days of Christ, the Head, and His body; Christ in His saints glorified as His saints, ministering in us, through us, as us.

Give yourself to the revelation of Christ in you; allow your thoughts to be renewed. The generosity of God that is given out is invested in the portfolio of Christ; in giving you Christ, He gave you all.”

THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY: THE SURE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST.

All Old Testament Prophets were Christocentric. The Bible is the collection of sacred writings with the message called “CHRIST JESUS.” The BIBLE doesn’t have messages neither does it have characters.

Christ was, is and shall remain the sole message and character of the Bible. Moses (Genesis to Deuteronomy) was solely written to prophesy about the salvation of man through Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.

Likewise, all the prophets (Joshua to Malachi) were exemplifying the sufferings of Christ and the glory into which afterwards He will enter.

Luke 24:25-27,44 [KJV] [25]Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: [26]Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? [27]And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. [44]And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Using various symbols, shadows, types and proverbs, Moses wrote concerning Christ.

John 5:46 [KJV]
[46]For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

John 1:41,45 [KJV]
[41]He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ [45]Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Thus, the scriptures are the testimony of JESUS CHRIST. We call them the Spirit of Prophecy (SoP).

John 5:37-39 [KJV]
[3 ]And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. [38] And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.[39]Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me

The prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit to prophesy on the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

2 Peter 1:21 [KJV]
[21]For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) with no additives is what we define as the “testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Revelation 12:17 [KJV]
[17]And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Keeping commandments here simply entails believing in and receiving from the finished work of Christ.

This testimony of Jesus Christ is the sure Spirit of Prophecy.

Revelation 19:10 [KJV]
[10]And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Genesis to Malachi plus nothing minus nothing remains the only Bible Spirit of Prophecy (SoP).

They are the writings of Moses and all the Prophets. Pray for the revelation knowledge. We fill the earth.

THE GLORIOUS GENEROSITY OF GOD

“Christ Jesus has brought us into a relation where He bears the title as the firstborn among many brethren. He is the prototype Son, who is not simply an example to us, but the example of us. He is the Image of the Invisible God. He is the exact likeness of the Invisible God. This is because all that is within the Father is within the Son. This also shows us that when God created man in His image (Hebrew: “selem”) after His likeness (Hebrew: “demuth”), He did so with the dimensions and measurements of His Eternal Son.”

Man was created with Christ in mind. We were created to share in what the Eternal Son has with His Father. We were not created to simply be servants to a master called God, to whom we’re to submit in fear and trembling. God’s cosmic plan is vast and beautiful; His cosmic plan for us within creation is that we were made to be the image of the Image... We’ve been made one with Christ the One who is all-sufficient.

The Father has bequeathed to you all that He is. You are one with Him in a seamless mystical union whereby what He is you are.

“Christ in you is the language of divine union.”

We are to have the awareness of what it means for Christ to live in us. “In Christ” is God’s conclusion about us and if we live from this conclusion of God, all other things will simply be a witness to what we are in Him.” (Apostle. Gilbert Karuza – The Glorious Generosity of God).

THE PROPER DISTINCTION BETWEEN RELIGION AND THE GOSPEL

HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST: THE PROPER DISTINCTION BETWEEN RELIGION AND THE GOSPEL

APOSTLE GILBERT KARUZA

When people work, they earn wages. It can’t be considered a free gift, because they earned it. Romans 4:4 TPT

If you’re a hard worker and do a good job, you deserve your pay; we don’t call your wages a gift. But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it—you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked—well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift. Romans 4:4‭-‬5 MSG

Religion is the anti-thesis of the Gospel. It is the invention of man and no matter what its creed, tenet or label may be, it is basically man’s vain attempt to secure the favour and approbation of God by a system of merit established on works. These are the varieties of rule-based religions which we are all acquainted with.

No matter the name of the religion, the focus as well as the pressure to perform is on you: what you should do or not do and how often you should do it or not.

Religion places man under the obligation of trying to pay his dues to God in order to earn salvation. Its modus operandi is “do good and God is glad, do bad and God is mad”

Religion operates out of performance which makes the attempt of placing God in man’s debt due to good works. The utter failure of such a system is that God will never be indebted to any man. When God gives, He gives and refuses to allow His gifts to be paid for; for no one has ever been qualified to pay the price in the first place.

The harder you work for salvation in religion, the greater you go into debt. It leads to pride when you succeed and to despair when you fail. It ultimately leads to slavery either way because it becomes all about you and what you must do to establish your standing before God. In the end, it leaves you either robbed of all spiritual initiative due to your failures or deluded into thinking that you have established for yourself a position before God by your temporary successes.

In the collection of all varieties of religion, God is presented as relating with the adherent through a meritorious system. Your deeds are weighed in God’s scales and He evaluates your merits.

The Gospel is grace to the undeserving. The God and Father of Jesus Christ does not relate with you through scales but through the cross. Which will it be: the scales of religion or the cross of Christ?

There are basically two options in the world, two systems. One is based on human achievement and the other is based on divine accomplishment; one says you must earn your salvation by your own works, the other says salvation is a gift fully secured without your merit. One involves achieving by trying; the other involves believing by trusting. One involves staking your life, personal wellbeing and eternal destiny on yourself and your capacity to perform.

The other involves unreservedly staking your life and eternal destiny on the perfection of Jesus Christ. These two options are diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive. They are unable to both be true at the same time; they are incompatible and can never meet. Which of the two will you receive?
